Partners
The first thing you see on the Partners page is a list of all your connected partners. By partner we mean the organizations that have an agreement with you to share data via Impulso. You can sort the partners in your list by clicking on the small icon next to the column that you want to sort on.
You also search for a specific organization using the search bar in the top right corner by inputting the organization name. Next to the search bar is the Add new-button that you can use to add new partners or agreements, which you can read more about below.
For each partner in the list you can see all the brands you have agreements for, what kind of agreements you have and how many of each, and when your latest agreement started. If you want to know more about any of your partners, simply click on their row in the list to get to that partner's Agreement page.
Agreement Page
Please note that the search bar and Add new-button is still visible on this page, and that any search that you have made on the Partners page will carry over to this page. If you want to head back to the Partners page, you can use the button with a left arrow that is located to the left of the organization's name.
You can filter which agreements are visible by adding a filter for agreement type, brand, or status. The status can be either Active or Inactive. An inactive status usually means that the agreement has reached its end date. When you have found the agreement, you are looking for, click on it in the list to see more information. The information that you see depends on what kind of agreement you are looking at. There are currently five different types of agreements, Product Tracker, Agent, Wholesale, Consignment, and Invoice.
Product Tracker
The Product Tracker Agreement is the main agreement that you can have in the Product Tracker module. This agreement is used to track stock and sales data and share it between the retailer and supplier. This does not include any prices by default, since some of our integrations don’t have this data, but if they do, and the retailers agree to it, it is possible to share prices as well. You can see if a particular agreement is set up to share prices under the Show Sell Price heading.
Agent
Agent Agreements are also part of the Product Tracker module and are being set up between a supplier and agent to allow the agent to see the data for all the supplier’s Product Tracker agreements with retailers in a specific region. To see what region the agreement covers, check out the Countries heading.
Wholesale and Consignment
Consignment and Wholesale are Auto Payment agreements where the retailer pays the supplier when the retailer sells their articles. If they have a Wholesale Agreement, the supplier gets the wholesale price for each article, and if they have a Consignment Agreement, the retailer and supplier split the sell price between them. You can see that split under the Split heading. Impulso charges a small fee for transferring this money between the retailer and supplier. The Retailer Fee and Supplier Fee headings show how much each partner pays for the transfer, as a percentage of the total transfer.
Invoice
Invoices are also a part of the Auto Payment module, and the fee for these money transfers work the same way as the ones for Wholesale and Consignment. In the dropdown for an Invoice Agreement, you can find the invoice number, invoice date and due date, the total invoice amount as well as what’s remaining. In the bottom right is also an export button which will download a breakdown with more details about each payment.
Add new Partner or Agreement
Use the top right Add new-button to add a new Agreement or Partner. Suppliers can Add Product Tracker, Agent, Consignment and Wholesale Agreements, and retailers can add Invoice Agreements. Each type of agreement has a different form to fill in, but some of the values are the same.
Reoccurring fields
Retailer/Agent/Supplier: Pick the partner that you want to create a new agreement with from the dropdown or write down a new partner and add it. If you are adding a new partner, you have to spell it correctly.
Brands: Pick a brand from the dropdown or create a new brand using the button to the right. Then choose one or more aliases for each brand. The Retailer Brand Aliases need to match with what the retailers are calling that brand in their POS system, so that our system can find all the correct articles when we are gathering data from the retailer.
Description: A voluntary description of the agreement.
Start Date: Pick the start date for the agreement. This must be a date in the future, so tomorrow or any other date after today.
Product Tracker
For Product Tracker Agreements you can choose if the retailer has agreed to show sell prices or not. Please be aware that even if both parties want to share sell prices, it might not be technically possible, so please talk to your Impulso contact before using this checkbox.
Agent
Choose one or more countries that the agreement should cover. Please be aware that Agent Agreements don’t work by themself, and that a Product Tracker Agreement is required between the Supplier and a Retailer in one of the selected countries.
Reoccurring fields Auto Payment
Payout interval: For Auto Payment, Impulso collects money from the retailer every day and puts it in a client fund account. Then the money is transferred to the supplier at a set time interval, which can be weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Include VAT in payout: Auto Payment Suppliers that sell their items in the same country that they are registered in should include VAT in their payouts and then handle their own VAT outside of Impulso. Other Auto Payment Suppliers should not include VAT, to let Impulso’s payment provider send the correct VAT. Different countries may have different solutions, always talk to your Impulso contact before creating this kind of agreement.
Fee Split: Impulso takes a small fee on the transferred money, and it is up to the Supplier and Retailer to decide who is paying that fee, or if they want to split it between them.
Consignment
Commission Split: How much of the price of a sold article that the retailer and supplier get, respectively.
Invoice
Invoice Number: The invoice number, from the invoice.
Total Amount: The invoice amount.
VAT Percentage: VAT percentage.
Terms: The number of days that the invoice should be split into. Make sure that this doesn’t exceed the invoice due date.
