Action Center Page

The center for suggested actions that could benefit your organization.

Filters

You can filter the action page by using the search bar to search for different articles, locations, partners etc., just like you do in the dashboard, but you can also filter the actions by type and status. Type and status are key concepts for the suggested actions, so read more about them further down if you are visiting the Action Center for the first time.

If you have reached the Action Center by clicking on a notification the filters will be preset to show the date, type and location(s) that correspond with the notification that you clicked. All statuses will also be added to the search bar, to make sure that all actions related to that notification are shown, even if their status might have

changed.

Sorting

Your actions are by default sorted by their date, with the latest suggestions first, but you can also order them by any of the other columns. Sort your actions by clicking on the column header of the property you want to sort by, for example the Status or Type headers. If you click again on the same column header, the actions will still be sorted on that property, but in the opposite order.

Status

The purpose of the status property on the actions is as a way for you to group the actions after what you want to do with them. This means that even if the system will sometimes change the status automatically if specific requirements are met, we also encourage you to change it yourself after your own preferences.

To do so, select one or more actions with the checkboxes on the far left of each action (row). Then click the Update all selected actions-dropdown and select the status you want to change them to. This will immediately change the status of these actions, which also means that if you are sorting on status your actions with a new status will vanish from their current position and end up sorted together with the actions that share their new status.

Unread

All actions start out with the status Unread when they are created and added to your list. The system might later change the status to Done if it detects that an action is no longer relevant, but you can also change the status to or from Unread as you please.

Read

The system will never change an action’s status to Read by itself. The Read-status is available as an option for you to mark an action as somewhere between Unread and Done, in case you for example want to save some actions for later but still detect if any new actions show up as Unread.

Done

Actions marked as Done are not automatically visible in the list but must be searched for specifically in the search bar to show up. This is because they are no longer suggestions for things to take action on, either since you have decided to change their status to Done or because the system has detected a reason to change these actions to Done, for example if something that is Out of Stock gets a new delivery.

Ignored

Ignored actions are, just like Done actions, no longer visible in the list unless you search for them in the search bar. An action’s status won’t change to Ignored automatically, but the status is available to use for you in case you want to separate actions that you have chosen to not do anything about (Ignored) from those that you took action on (Done).

Type

An action’s type is connected to why an action is suggested to you in the first place. If you click on an action and look through the data in the dropdown you will hopefully get an idea about the situation that Impulso is trying to bring to your attention, and be able to take action on things like sending more wares to a store that is about to run out of an article, or moving an item that isn’t selling very well at its current location.

Out Of Stock

Articles are highlighted as Out of Stock in a store if they have a stock level of zero and also have had a sale in the last 30 days in that store. This is to prevent an abundance of actions suggesting you do something about articles from old seasons that aren’t relevant today.

Low Stock

Low Stock is only added as an action for NOOS-articles, since other seasons are designed to reach a low stock after a while. To find Low Stock articles the algorithm evaluates the sale data for the last 30 days, and based on that it makes a forecast for when the article will sell out. If that predicted sell-out is in 14 days or less, the article is considered Low Stock, and an action is added to your Action Center.

Slow Seller

Slow Sellers use the same algorithm as Low Stock but alerts for articles that are predicted to sell out in more than 60 days.

Export

When you have found a group of actions that you want to save for later or perhaps send off to a colleague or partner to discuss further, you can export your selection of actions to an xlsx-file by using the Export Actions-button located to the right of the Update all selected actions-dropdown.
